Short bio:

Born around Munich, Konstantin studied BA Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Regensburg. His main areas of interest lie in political theory, as well as the relationship between aesthetic production and society. Additionally, he is increasingly focused on the history and functioning of socialist states. Through his work as a student assistant on the project „Light On! Queer Literatures and Cultures under Socialism“, Konstantin hopes to bring together all these aspects and to draw more attention to the largely unexplored facets of queer culture in these states.

Konstantin studierte Politikwissenschaft und Philosophie im Bachelorstudiengang an der Universität Regensburg. Ursprünglich stammt er aus der Nähe von München. Seine Interessenschwerpunkte liegen in der Politischen Theorie, sowie in der Beziehung zwischen künstlerischer Produktion und Gesellschaft. Darüber hinaus beschäftigt er sich zunehmend mit der Geschichte und den Funktionsweisen realsozialistischer Staaten. Durch seine Mitarbeit am Projekt „Light On! Queer Literatures and Cultures under Socialism“ (als studentische Hilfskraft) hofft Konstantin, all diese Aspekte vereinen und mehr Aufmerksamkeit auf bislang wenig untersuchte Aspekte queerer Kultur in diesen Staaten lenken zu können.
